Alliances
An Integral Component

Throughout the history of TLC, local and national alliances have been an integral component in the development and implementation of a world-class program of recovery. As our community’s leading advocate for and implementer of an integrated, 12-step spiritual model of recovery, TLC has been fortunate to receive the support and guidance of many Sioux Falls and national organizations.

Leading the list of TLC Alliances are both of our regions leading medical systems of care. Sanford Health and USD Medical Center, as well as Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center, have been key financial and system contributors.

In addition, Avera Behavioral Hospital and related services, and Alegent Behavioral Hospital, Omaha, Neb., and the Health Professionals Assistance Program of South Dakota have all provided significant guidance and expertise to assist TLC in referring individuals to quality medical and clinical recovery resources.

Working with, and sustaining relationships with local and national organizations long known in the field of addiction recovery is a vital part in providing care best suited for those in need of medical treatment and recovery resources. The Retreat, Hazelden, Bradford Health Systems, Keystone, New Life and Avera Outpatient programs have all been significant contributors in the implementation of the mission of Transitional Living Corporation.

Without the generous support of individual philanthropists and community employers throughout the greater Sioux Falls area, the TLC effort could not have grown to represent our community's leading 12 step spiritual model of recovery.

We are truly appreciative of the many efforts that individuals, non- profit organizations, medical professionals, business, clergy, and members of the recovering community have made on behalf of Transitional Living Corporation, TLC Tallgrass and TLC Sober Living residences.
